City & Guilds Certificate (Level 4) Leading the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice

Course Overview:

This qualification is for people who are currently working in a training or assessing environment and would like to be able to quality assure assessors and assessment process.

Entry Requirements:

You need to be working in a training or assessing environment. A candidate-IQA will need to show that they have provided support for a minimum of two assessors. Each of these assessors needs to be assessing two candidates. It is the responsibility of the candidate-IQA to locate these assessors and their candidates. Additionally, the candidate-IQA must have the support of an occupationally competent and qualified Internal Verifier who will be responsible for counter-signing all the decisions made by the candidate-IQA. Please note that the College does not provide for these requirements.

Mature Applicants
We welcome applications from mature students (aged 21 and over as at 1st September in the academic year of admission) and do not necessarily require the same academic qualifications as school leaving applicants.
