Access to Higher Education - Humanities

Access to Higher Education (HE) aims to give adults (19+) with significant life experience a fresh chance at education. It is a nationally recognised qualification representing an alternative to the traditional A Level route to university. As well as giving you the chance to gain the academic skills you will need for higher level study, the course aims to support students so that they increase in confidence and develop interpersonal skills. There is no upper age limit for this course.

Entry Requirements: You will need GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above (please check the entry requirements of the Universities that you are interested in though as some courses may require a B, or have other subject requirements) combined with a desire to study and the commitment to study full time for a year.
