City & Guilds (Level 5) Leadership in Health & Social Care and Children & Young People’s Workforce

Course Overview:

If you currently or hope to manage a residential home for children or adults, this essential course helps you fulfill your regulatory requirement. This specialist Diploma allows you to build on your management and care skills so you can provide a better service and improve your practice. The course covers key areas including communication, professional development, equality, diversity and inclusion, health and safety, risk management and procedures and practices.

Entry Requirements:

You must already be working in a Health & Social Care or Childcare role. This course is particularly suitable for Assistant or Deputy Managers or Managers of homes who do not have a recognised vocational qualification at this level.

Mature Applicants
We welcome applications from mature students (aged 21 and over as at 1st September in the academic year of admission) and do not necessarily require the same academic qualifications as school leaving applicants.
