HND Aeronautical Engineering (UCAS Code - A10D)

Course Overview:

This course is suitable for people currently or hoping to work in technical and management roles in Aeronautical Engineering. You can study a range of subjects, which could include Analytical Methods, Electrical and Electronic Principles, Engineering Science, Planning and Sheduling, depending on your starting point. This course gives you the opportunity to complete specialist studies which are directly relevant to job roles. Different delivery modes are available depending upon your starting qualification and whether you want to study full or part-time.

Entry Requirements:

Maths GCSE grade B or above, plus National Diploma (previously Certificate day release), or Extended Diploma (previously National Diploma full-time) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with a merit profile. If you already have the QCD Higher National Certificate in Electronic/Electrical Engineering with merit profile or higher you would only need to achieve eight units and the time to achieve the HND in reduced accordingly. If you have GCSE grade C Maths or other qualifications/appropriate industrial experience you will be considered for admission on an individual basis. Mature Applicants
We welcome applications from mature students (aged 21 and over as at 1st September in the academic year of admission) and do not necessarily require the same academic qualifications as school leaving applicants.
