VTCT Certificate (Level 4) Salon Management

Course Overview:

The VTCT Certificate (Level 4) Salon Management (QCF) has been specifically designed for existing or aspirational Salon Managers. Suitable for Hairdressers, Barbers, Beauty Therapists and Nail Technicians, this higher level qualification covers planning products and services based on data analysis, setting operational objectives, public relations, monitoring work practices, stock control and making recommendations to increase salon revenue. You will learn to research, monitor and recommend improvements to ensure the health, safety and security of your salon, becoming a valuable asset to your organisation.

Entry Requirements:

To start the Certificate in Salon Management, you need at least a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent qualification plus five to ten years’ salon experience. You should also have literacy (English), numeracy (Maths) and ICT skills at Level 2. If you would like to do the Diploma, you also need to be employed in a relevant salon role and with opportunities to take on supervisory or management duties.

The Certificate takes one year (30 weeks).
