Nikki has been Vice Principal, Curriculum and Quality, at Yeovil College since June 2013. Nikki studied Science at the University of Newcastle upon Tyne and gained her PGCE at Southampton University. In 2001 she continued her studies through Post Graduate research in Environmental Rehabilitation at the University of Aberystwyth. Nikki was heavily involved in the development and teaching of a range of HND programmes as well as contributing to the development of the Foundation Degree in Forensic Science with University of the West of England, Bristol. Nikki recently was integral to the recent highly successful QAA Higher Education Review, is an Ofsted Inspector and a Governor at a local secondary school. All of these roles support her within the role to enhance the transition into higher education and to build a relevant, focused and inspirational curriculum for all students. Nikki has always had a passion for education inspiring people of all ages and at all levels to believe in themselves and use the power of education to propel them into a career or further studies to help meet their aspiration.
Rose is Higher Eduation Manager at Yeovil College University Centre (www.ycuc.ac.uk). Rose joined YCUC in September 2016 and has over twenty years experience in the higher education sector in the UK and Ireland. Rose has also worked as an SAP applications consultant in the UK, Ireland, France, and Germany, and in the retail sector.
Rose completed her BSc and MBA with the Open University and then studied for a BA at the National College of Ireland before returning to the OU to complete a Masters in Education. Along the way she completed a Diploma in Education Practice: ICT Skills. Rose actively participates in a variety of professional networks within the educational development field. She holds Chartered Membership of CIPD (MCIPD); Fellowship of Staff and Educational Developers Association (FSEDA), and Fellowship of UK Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
Lynne is the University Centre Assistant with over twenty years’ experience in an administrative and student support role within the higher education sector, having recently rejoined the Yeovil College University Centre.
Lynne completed her MA in Professional Development in Management Studies with the University of Exeter, holds BA (Hons) International Business Administration and an Advanced Diploma in Administrative Management.
